Located ON a Durbar Square, you can’t get any better. The porters were great to carry our luggage on their backs to the third floor. Our room over looked the temples. Magical. Forewarned: the big bell in Durbar Square is rung twice a day, and the Hindu temple closed to the front door rings bells as early as 4:30am. The food was excellent (breakfast and dinner) — and you must have their Nepali masala milk tea. Best in Nepal. Get a high floor room (the restaurant is open late on ground floor) with en suite bathroom (most rooms have separate shared bathrooms).
